Can't decide where you want to stay on your next Walt Disney World trip? Try a split resort stay. We did this one time. I wanted the experience of staying at the Grand Floridian (but couldn't afford it for our whole stay). So we stayed 3 days then switched to Fort Wilderness Lodge (which we actually liked much better). We did an early check-in at FWL ( but the room was not ready) and then spent the day at Typhoon Lagoon. When we returned that afternoon, our room was ready.
